Terms and Agreements

These Website Terms and Agreements govern your access to GilhooleyHealing.com and your purchase or use of services offered by Gilhooley Healing and Christine Gilhooley. By using the website, submitting information, purchasing a gift certificate, or booking or attending a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a service.

About Gilhooley Healing

Gilhooley Healing provides intuitive, spiritual, and complementary services, including Animal Communication, Animals in Spirit, Human Mediumship, and Energy Healing. These services are intended to support personal reflection, spiritual connection, and well-being. They are not professional medical, veterinary, mental-health, legal, financial, religious, or behavioral services.

Nature of Intuitive and Spiritual Services

Intuitive impressions, energetic observations, and messages are subjective by nature. Information may be symbolic, incomplete, unexpected, or interpreted differently by different people. Gilhooley Healing cannot guarantee that particular information, evidence, messages, people, or animals will come through, or that a client will experience a particular emotional, spiritual, behavioral, or physical result.

Human Mediumship and Animals in Spirit sessions do not guarantee contact with a particular deceased person or animal. Animal Communication does not guarantee that an animal will respond in a particular way or that a behavior, relationship, or circumstance will change.

Medical Veterinary and Mental Health Disclaimer

Christine Gilhooley is not acting as a physician, nurse, veterinarian, veterinary technician, psychologist, therapist, counselor, dietitian, clergy member, or other licensed health-care or animal-care professional. Nothing on the website or provided during a session is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness, injury, disease, emotional condition, or behavioral issue.

Do not use information from the website or a session as a substitute for care from a qualified physician, mental-health professional, licensed veterinarian, veterinary behaviorist, trainer, or other appropriate professional. Do not delay seeking professional care, and do not begin, stop, or change medication, treatment, supplements, diet, or veterinary care based solely on intuitive or energetic information.

If you or another person is experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service. If an animal may be ill, injured, in distress, or in immediate danger, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital promptly.

Client Responsibility

You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions, actions, and results. You agree to use personal judgment and, when appropriate, seek advice from qualified professionals before acting on information received through the website or a session. You are also responsible for the safety, supervision, handling, training, medical care, and living conditions of any animal in your care.

Animal Session Guidelines

Animal Communication and Animals in Spirit appointments are generally for one animal per session unless Gilhooley Healing agrees otherwise in writing. A clear, recent photograph showing the animal's face and eyes should be submitted when available, together with the animal's name and the requested intake information. If an animal has passed, the client must indicate that when booking.

Gilhooley Healing does not offer lost-pet location services and cannot assist with locating a missing animal. Animal Communication is not a substitute for veterinary care, emergency services, humane-law enforcement, professional training, or behavior consultation.

Eligibility and Accurate Information

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or book a service unless a parent or legal guardian books the service, provides consent, and participates as appropriate. You agree to provide accurate contact, payment, scheduling, and intake information. You also confirm that you have the right and authority to request a session concerning the person or animal identified and to submit any photograph or other material you provide.

Booking Payment and Prices

Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed only after the booking process and required payment are completed, unless Gilhooley Healing agrees otherwise in writing. Prices, session descriptions, and availability may change. The price and terms shown when you complete your purchase will apply to that booking.

Payments may be processed by independent payment providers. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. You are responsible for ensuring that your billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To cancel, contact Christine directly using the contact information in your confirmation or at chris@gilhooleyhealing.com.

A cancellation received at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment is eligible for a refund less the original credit-card processing fee. A cancellation made within 48 hours of the appointment is considered a late cancellation and is non-refundable. Gilhooley Healing may consider an exception for a special or unforeseen circumstance, but an exception is not guaranteed.

No Shows and Late Arrivals

If you miss an appointment without notice, the appointment is considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and the full session fee remains due.

If you arrive or join late, the session may be shortened so later appointments can begin on time. If too little time remains, Gilhooley Healing may determine that the session cannot proceed. The full session fee remains due regardless of the shortened or missed time.

Refunds Credits and Gift Certificates

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear. At the client's request, an eligible payment may instead remain on file as a credit toward a future appointment. A credit kept on file must be used within one year of the original appointment date.

Gift certificates are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Gift certificates and credits have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Any separate terms shown at purchase also apply.

Session Recordings and Technology

Online sessions may be held through Zoom or another video platform and may be audio-recorded for the client's personal reference. By booking and accepting the client agreement, you consent to that audio recording. If you do not want your session recorded, notify Christine in writing before the session begins.

A recording is a courtesy and is not guaranteed. Gilhooley Healing is not responsible for a recording that is unavailable, incomplete, corrupted, or lost because of a technical problem. Unless both parties agree otherwise in writing, session recordings are for the client's private, personal use and may not be publicly posted, sold, edited into public content, or distributed to others.

You are responsible for a reliable internet connection, a working device, and a quiet, private setting. Gilhooley Healing may reschedule a session if a significant technical problem prevents the session from reasonably proceeding.

Photographs Intake Information and Confidentiality

Information and photographs submitted for a session will be used to prepare for, provide, and administer the requested service. Gilhooley Healing will use reasonable care in handling client information, but no website, email, scheduling platform, payment system, or video service can be guaranteed completely secure.

You should submit only information and materials you are comfortable providing electronically. You are responsible for protecting your privacy during a session, including choosing a private location and limiting who can hear or view the session.

Testimonials Reviews and Client Content

Testimonials and reviews describe individual experiences. They are not promises or guarantees that another client will have the same or a similar experience.

Gilhooley Healing will not use a client's name, image, animal photograph, recording, or identifiable session details for advertising or public promotion without permission. If you voluntarily post a public review or public social-media comment, Gilhooley Healing may share or link to that public content, but will not materially change its meaning.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, recordings, downloads, and other original material on the website are owned by or licensed to Gilhooley Healing and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the website and print or save reasonable portions for your own personal, noncommercial use.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or use website or session content for commercial, training, artificial-intelligence, or public-distribution purposes without prior written permission.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the website to violate any law, infringe another person's rights, transmit harmful code, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or misleading information, harass another person, or misuse booking, payment, contact, or communication features.

Third Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including scheduling, payment, video, email, social-media, and other providers. Gilhooley Healing does not control those providers and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or actions. Use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's separate terms and privacy policy.

Website Availability and Accuracy

Gilhooley Healing makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and available, but does not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or current. Website content may be corrected, updated, suspended, or removed without notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, its content, and all intuitive, spiritual, and complementary services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gilhooley Healing and Christine Gilhooley will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, loss of opportunity, or business interruption arising from use of the website or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount the client paid Gilhooley Healing for the service giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, or to harm caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This provision does not require you to indemnify Gilhooley Healing for its own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action relating to these terms or the services will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

Gilhooley Healing may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Changes will apply prospectively and will not materially alter the cancellation or payment terms of an appointment already booked unless the client agrees or the change is required by law.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These terms, together with the service description, intake form, booking confirmation, and any written terms agreed for a particular service, form the entire agreement concerning use of the website and that service.
